Quick Access Toolbar – New Addition

The Quick Access toolbar was introduced in Office 2007, but is new for users upgrading from previous versions. The Quick Access toolbar needs to be customized to enhance the value of its offerings – shortcuts to the most commonly used tools and commands.

Select the listed commands and they will be added to the right of the last command button. Use the More Commands option to adjust their order left to right. The new command addition to the list in Office 2010 is Open Recent File which will launch the Backstage view (File tab) / Recent command – providing another way to access the documents you previously worked on.
